Care For Magical Creatures Lesson 2

I strolled into the classroom and saw the students waiting already. Welcome to the 2nd lesson i said. Todays topic will be Vampires. Can anyone tell me some basic knowledge about them? I looked around to see if some students raised there hands to answer my question.

*raises hand and waits to be called on politely*

Please go ahead miss Granger. What information do u have to share?

Vampires are magical beings that are known for biting people on the neck and sucking their blood. They are usually pale and gaunt. They have sharp teeth used to puncture the neck. They have an aversion to garlic.

*looks at professor snape calmly knowing that he probably will earn more points then her.Cant wait to see what the head master has to say

I grew impatient, and said "Sir , I would love to add something to what ms Granger Said" and I then said "Vampires are classed as Beings by the Ministry of Magic, a fact that led both the Centaurs and Merpeople to decline the same status since they did not wish to be associated with them. They are not considered to be Wizards, and the treatment of Vampires is laid down in the Ministry's Guidelines for the Treatment of Non-Wizard Part-Humans.

Although Vampires are studied in Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry,they obviously have rights and are not considered a true threat to the Wizarding community. However, this view does not appear to be universally held. Some people, such as Rita Skeeter, advocate that the Ministry of Magic should be "stamping out Vampires" rather than "quibbling about cauldron thickness",[4] while others act as Vampire hunters.[4] Others hold the opposite view, such as the author, Eldred Worple, who spent time living among Vampires, and wrote a book, Blood Brothers: My Life Amongst the Vampires. He also considered the Vampire Sanguini a friend."

I then turned to Ms Granger and said " You know Ms Granger, its always good if you cite the sources of your answer, so you will get more points and I see your house is in a pathetic Condition" I then turned my back to her and went back to my seat to know what Professor VampireLord's Reaction Is....

Very Good Snape. A vampire doesn´t have a real enemy in nature. There are some Creatures they dont get along with but who doesnt have that issue? Now for Homework please write a small paper on the living habbits of Vampires and where they are likely to be found. Exta points can be earned with describing a situation in wich u might encounter one.

And Mister Snape u get 10 points for the correct answer.

vampires habbits are biting people and sucking blood. they can be found in Central Europe: Romania (Transylvania), and in Germany (Black Forest). you may run into a vampire in one of these places if u get cut and are blleding and a vampire smells your blood.

I went in back to my seat and took my bag and put my hands in it and searched for some parchemnts and Ink.I got what I needed and wrote all those I know about The Living Habits of vampires and my essay looked like this:-

* Vampires must consume blood of a living creature for strength. This could range from humans to small rodents, etc. However the blood has a certain quality to it, where as a human's is the purest and best tasting, a rodents isn't. So they select their prey according to a variety of statistics such as availablity and location.
* Biting region is in the neck or the wrist, where as the major arteries lie and blood is most abundant.
* Some vampires who are skilled enough many learn to achieve transformation into the forms of mist, the wolf and the bat.
* Vampire are believed to have the strength of 10 men.
* Vampires are known to be a part of the sexual demon family. They are known for their hypnotic abilities to lure people by seduction.
* Vampires are capable of regenerating body parts (except the head) while sleeping in the daytime. The exception is too that if a holy or silver item damaged them, then it is impossible for the wound to heal properly.
* Vampires find garlic to give off a type of drug-like smell that weakens them (much like Superman and Kryptonite work in relation to weaknesses.)
* Vampires are frightfully fast and are known to be able to scale walls and leap fairly high.
* Vampires are not able to enter freely into a private residence. They must be invited by the master of the household. However they may freely come and go as they please after the invitation.
* A vampire casts no reflection in a mirror.
* Vampires can be harmed by by mundane, ordinary weapons to a degree. They can feel/react to the attack, but no pain is inflicted, however a wound would be created but no loss of blood.

I walk up to the castle with the slytherins instead of with my gryffindor friends. I talk to all my slytherin friends on my way to lunch.

I went back to my desk, packed my bags and went through the hall, when i noted that The Slytherin house is leading in the House Points,I thought "I just cant wait for the points ceremony, finally when Slytherin will yield victory!!!
