| Well, it depends on the situation. If you had no job and you needed to do whatever possible to take care of your family the person would probably need to steal. If you chose to have no job because you are lazy and have no money coming in and you steal to get the stuff you need, get your [Censored] off of the couch!
But if you truly can't get a job and you need these things there are other ways to do it. My uncle does tattoos and he doesn't have anything. (Literally) All his money goes to his family (he has seven kids) because he thinks family is what matters most.
If you couldn't get out and go do these things (like you were disabled or something) then stealing might be the only option.
